CANARY ISLANDS - TENERIFE – THE HAWAII OF EUROPE

The Canary Islands, and amongst them their largest Island Tenerife, could be considered the equivalent of the Hawaii of Europe.  A seven island archipelago off of Africa each Island is splendidly unique.

While Tenerife is not the capital of the region, it is the most popular island.  With history that runs from before the time of Christopher Columbus, the island of Tenerife is an island of contrasts, from the snow-white peak of the Teide volcano – Spain’s highest peak - to the deep-blue of the Atlantic Ocean, from the green of the banana trees to the varied colors of its unique flora. The Temperature of Tenerife is always around 20 to 25 degrees Centigrade.
