A seven island archipelago off of Africa each Island is <strong>splendidly unique<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>While Tenerife is not the capital of the region, it is <strong>the most popular island<\/strong>. With history that runs from before the time of Christopher Columbus, the island of Tenerife is an island of contrasts, from the snow-white peak of the Teide volcano \u2013 Spain\u2019s highest peak &#8211; to the deep-blue of the Atlantic Ocean, from the green of the banana trees to the varied colors of its <strong>unique flora<\/strong>.
